Tracy Wendt is the Executive Director of the Sun River Watershed Group.   She is originally from Washington state. She moved to Montana to attend the University of Montana, where she also worked on the Blackfoot and Clark Fork Rivers. She spent time as a habitat biologist in Wyoming and a project manager on the Big Thompson River in Colorado before returning to Montana and settling in Great Falls. She is on the board of directors for the Missouri River Flyfishers and High Plains Conservation District and an active member of our Chamber of Commerce.

SRWG began in 1994 as a group of citizens concerned with water quality issues on Muddy Creek. Over the past 30 years, we have grown to address many other resource concerns across the watershed - from Gibson Dam to the city of Great Falls.
